About Level Playing Field

Level Playing Field is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making consumer and employee arbitration data accessible to the public. We collect, normalize, and publish case-level information so that individuals, attorneys, researchers, and journalists can understand how arbitration works in practice.

The Data

Our database covers consumer and employee arbitration cases spanning more than a decade. Each record includes the parties involved, dispute type, financial amounts claimed and awarded, case disposition, and outcome. All figures are reported as submitted — we do not modify outcome data.

Data has known limitations. Not all cases include complete financial figures. Party names may vary across records for the same entity. Consumer names are not published.
